Seventy Second Post - Reflections

Hands down the best part of the A - Z challenge were the comments other bloggers left on my posts. Second best was the fabulous blogs I visited and am now following. I entered this challenge because it was a challenge. Typically I write one, maybe two posts a week and it was intriguing to consider the possibility of writing a post a day. Kudos to me for completing. I'm not saying that each post was a 'raise the banner and shout out loud' kind of post, but I did post every day, and with the correct letter!

While I gained many followers - I started with about 8 and now have 59, I am a tad competitive and was disappointed that I didn't reach that magic number 100. Oh well, maybe next year.

A BIG Thank you to:
the organizers of this challenge,
the bloggers who read my posts,
the bloggers who commented on my posts,
the bloggers who entertained me,
the bloggers who taught me new things,
the bloggers who made me think,
the bloggers who challenged me with new perspectives, and
the bloggers who made me laugh!

This month I've learned some new things, some new words, and visited many new places. I'm not going to single out any blogs in particular, because there simply are too many to mention, but it was just plain enjoyable to visit so many different blogs.

To my new friends, it's been delightful meeting you and I sincerely hope we keep in touch!

Blessings to you!

  6. Well, now you have 60! Found you actually on the blog jump list, though I did the A to Z challenge too - proud to have done it and glad it's over. Stop by and visit me at http://writeryogini.blogspot.com. I came to your blog because I love the title, and I love the thought behind it.

  7. Congratulations on finishing the challenge and gaining new followers.

Growing from 8 to 59 followers is not too shabby, so that's better than 16 or zero, you know! LOL

  8. Something very strange happened on the way to posting this comment. When I placed my pointer on your "post a comment " marked at the end of your post it simply vanished. I took a flyer and clicked where I thaught it should be and hey presto the comment box appeared. Anyway, Well done on the challenge, you did better than me, I lost all access to the Internet and My computer completely conked out. But I seem to be back (for now). I too gained followers even though I could not access the net so am now trying to catch up with everyone and see what they had to say. So far there are, as far as I can tell, some very good posts. I think that possibly the best part of the challenge for me is going to be reading lots of posts at night and therefore keeping busy. God bless you my friend, I will be back soon. Love, Geoff.

  12. Hi Carol .. just quickly to answer Geoff's comment .. the 'comment' here bit changed to a very pale background yellow .. so I suspect you couldn't see it - I just realised what happened when as your comment was above.

Carol - love the way you've set out the positives of The Challenge - excellent, succinct and encouraging!!

I'm sure that sign will be saying over 100 soon .. well done .. and definitely see you around ..

    Cheers Hilary

  17. I think I'm number 67 so you're getting closer by the day. I clicked follow thinking we might have things in common, time will tell (I don't mean that meanly, but my blog list is growing hugely and I keep finding such interesting people out there in blogland!) It's been a wild ride, and I'm proud I made it. Congrats to you too. Sue

  21. Hi! Nice to meet you! I'm still making my rounds since I didn't have time to write AND visit in April. I agree that it was fun to meet new people and get new followers. I was at 98 when we stared and hit the elusive 100 during the challenge. I hope to be back to visit and get to know you better, so I'm following and urging you on to your goal. You can do it! As you've discovered, it a give and take community, and if you give the time, it will be rewarded with new friends. And besides writing, what could be better than that? Also, Shannon @ The Warrior Muse and I are joining forces in another challenge. We're going to visit and comment at each of the participants, starting with the reflections post. We hope you'll join us!
